Getting Packed for the Ecuador Summer Outreach

It was a smoldering Thursday night on June 24th when nine of our Vineyard OP travelers who will are headed to Ecuador for the 2010 Summer Outreach got together. They made the trek to the Smithville, Missouri area to visit our friends at Vineyard KC North, and to participate in a packing party. Becoming the Best Friend Our Community Ever Had

A few weeks ago, I talked about what it would take to become a Mark 2 church, a church that will stop at nothing to bring the people to Jesus and Jesus to the people. The Breakthrough Crew Serves Their City

Twenty Breakthrough students and leaders met for the third consecutive year at Indian Creek Nursing home on May 22nd to serve the Senior Citizens. We call this the "Serve Your City Breathrough Service Project". We pulled weeds, prepared flower beds, and picked up trash. After three hours of intense manual labor, the Breakthrough team collected three very large garbage bags full of weeds, and several garbage bags of trash. Kansas City Convoy of Hope

On Saturday, June 12th, Convoy of Hope is holding an event for the people of Kansas City. The event is being held at Swope Park, and they are still looking for volunteers to help staff the many positions required to do something of this magnitude.
